The E.Y.C. is the youth group at Saint John’s made up of Middle and High School students. The group meets primarily on Sunday evenings 6-8p.m. during the academic year. The meetings begin with a parishioner provided meal, followed by fun games, activities, and projects. The group’s time ends with either a service of prayer or spiritual reflection.
The EYC has several organized special activities during the year. Our E.Y.C. group ends off the youth group season with a mission trip where we partner with different organizations and groups to help those around the world in need.
Just in the past five years, we have had the privilege to teach inner-city children in Chicago lessons of the Bible, rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico, farm in the countryside of Kentucky, and help renovate a women’s rehabilitation center in the mountains of Alaska.
The E.Y.C. is led by Father Jeff Reich. If you are interested in feeding our E.Y.C. group please fill out the form below. For more information contact the parish office.
