Turkeys from Heaven
What: A wonderful opportunity to volunteer your time and help prepare a traditional holiday meal for those less fortunate!
When: November 20th at 1:00PM – UNTIL!
It is unfortunate but true that many of our elderly and shut-ins will not have Thanksgiving without a little help.
We will be working to provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal to many elderly and shut-in in the community that may go without Thanksgiving this year. We are asking that you all look in your pantry, or pick up a little something extra at the grocery store between now and November 15th to help offset the expense of providing this meal (a list of items needed is provided!).
Then, the weekend before Thanksgiving, those who can will gather at the parish and prepare as many meals as needed to deliver to those that, without this, would not have a Thanksgiving!
Items Needed
French green beans – canned
Cream of mushroom soup
Toasted onion rings
Canned sweet potatoes
Marshmallows
Pepperidge Farm dressing – dry bag with blue label
Cream of celery soup
Chicken broth
- Cash may also be donated if you would rather!
These items will be needed onFriday, November 19th: Rolls, Desserts – cakes, cookies, and pies
