Are you an Altar Guild member?

Are you interested in becoming a member of the Altar Guild?

Are you interested in caring for the sacred items used in our worship?  Want to offer your time and talent to help with the worship of our Church?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should makes plans to come to the Nave of Saint John’s on Wednesday evening, May 18th at 6:30pm.

At that meeting Fr. Jeff, Jane Hayes, and Pam Ward will go over how to set up and take down the altar, as well as how to care for the sacred items used in worship.  They will also spend some time introducing everyone to the new Sacristy Cabinet and how everything works and should be set up.

We will also begin to make out a new schedule at this meeting, so if you have tried Altar Guild but found it was not your calling, this is the time to let us know…or if you really enjoy Altar Guild and wish to be more involved (either on the Weddings & Funeral committee, the Special events committee, or wish to increase the frequency of your service) let us know.

Even if you can’t make the meeting, please respond to this email with your desire to serve, or your desire to work on these committees.

God bless our Altar Guild, may she increase in faith and service and be filled with the Grace of God!
