The Church of Saint John

With a heavy heart we announce the death of Stewart Jones Gilchrist-  June 23, 2014 in Brentwood, TN.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10 a.m., at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Nashville TN.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel at a later date. The Gilchrist’s moved to Tennessee several years ago, but he and Gene were very active in our parish, with Stewart serving both on the Vestry and as Junior Warden.   Please remember Stewart and his family in your prayers and may his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of Christ, rest in Peace.
