Good morning everyone! I pray you are all well. This Sunday our youth begins their summer mission trip. They will be attending the 8:00 service and leaving immediately afterwards. They are traveling to the Ozarks to rebuild and renovate houses for poor and elderly in that area. While they are going to be working hard…they will have some time for play as well. They are going to see the Christ of the Ozarks, and attend a showing of the world’s largest Passion Play. A special thanks to Catharine Reich, Melanie Follis, and Rick Burson who have volunteered a week to lead our youth and a tip of the Biretta to all who donated and gave to help get them to the Ozarks.
Fall is soon upon us, and along with it comes the next offering of our Confirmation/Inquirers Classes. I teach the classes, and they are designed to teach and give insight into the faith and practice of the Church and also what it is to be an Episcopalian/Anglican. The classes are offered to any and all who want to know more about their faith, or who are interested in being Confirmed and joining the Episcopal Church and Saint Johns formally. So if you are at all interested, please fill out this form and let us know.
God bless you all!
